I went to the Rheinbeck Wool and Sheep Festival for the first time this year and it was astounding.  Do you know sheep really baa and llamas think they are cute.  The hat is made with a bulky fisherman's yarn and is 100% wool.  The hairpin lace trim is a skein or acrylic and wool that  was found in the bottom of my stash which complemented  the neutral fisherman yarn
