These socks are a mismatch from the way the yarn was wound.  Same color and same dye lot.  The first time this has happened with a varigated yarn.  Of course, I am new at crocheting socks.  These will fit women's shoe sizes 8-9 and men size 8.  The leg height is  8".  One of a kind
