Museums has been a major inspiration for my designs.  I visted "The Head to Toe" accessories exhibit at FIT and a hat designed by milliner Stephen Jones became my inspiration for Pearl's Fezband.  It's shaped like a fez but mine are opened at the top.  For this one I crocheted the band with a lavendar cord with a silver satin ribbon flap buttoned on the left.  I can do two more sizes in this color
