Museums has been a major inspiration for my designs.  I visted "The Head to Toe" accessories exhibit at FIT and a hat designed by milliner Stephen Jones became my inspiration for Pearl's Fezband.  It's shaped like a fez but mine are opened at the top. 
This one done with satin ribbon in ridged single crochet.  I rimmed the top the Dali yarn from the stash in a filet crochet.  One of a kind
