How would I described this pretty yarn?  It is a variegated with muted colors of purple, lavendar and shades of green.  I just happen to have these small green pailettes in my stash and when I crocheted the top adding the pailettes as I went along, it came into a halo effect.  The yarn is 100% cotton.
