The Gaucho Hat  is a lot taller in the cap than the boater.  Someone suggested that I try using raffia or raffia like yarn to do summer hats for spring and summer.  This is a rayon cellulose raffia like yarn I found which was okay to work with.  I trim it with a yarn that was in my stash.  This fits head sizes 21" to 22".  This is one-of-a-kind. I have made a recylcled cardboard hatbox with a crocheted trim which comes with the hat to protect it's shape.
